Security Village first event was held.

Security Village first event was held on Feb 20, 2019.  More than 110 students from different high schools attended the venue which was held at Faculty of Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. 

At the beginning of the event, Dr. Abbas Ghaemi, head of Computer Engineering Department and the chair of ISCISC 2019, talked to the students and mentioned the goals of this event as generalization

of security and encryption knowledge and technology, and the detection and guidance of those who are interested in security-related topics and who has the potential to continue their studies in this field. Then, Dr. Haleh Amintoosi, assistant professor at Computer Engineering Department of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the scientific committee chair of ISCISC2019 started her talk by asking the students to serve as the security missioners in their homes and schools and inform others about the importance of security related issues. She also mentioned that there are good work and study opportunities for those who are interested/ expert in seurtriy related topics. 

Next, two workshops was held by the Information and Communication Security Lab and Ferdowsi University Cert Lab. At the end, a competition was held among the students organized by the arithland.   

The two next events will be held on May and September 2019, respectively.
